Press the paper setting button. The envelope feeder’s bottom tray is
lifted and envelopes that are fed are secured to the envelope feeder.
• Paper feed errors may occur when using large envelopes. If this
happens, remove the envelopes and move the switch to the up ( )
position as shown in the figure. This improves seating of the
envelopes in the envelope feeder.
• Do not touch envelopes while they are being fed, or attempt to pull an
envelope back once it starts being fed. Damage to the mechanism
may result.
• To avoid trouble, we recommend that envelopes be deliverd face-up
using the option face-up output tray. Refer to next page.
