52 Customizing Your Phone
Setting your phone to vibrate
You can set your phone to vibrate for incoming calls.
1. Select Menu → Settings → Sounds → Call/Ring Vibe.
2. Highlight an option and press to select it:
–Vibrate only causes the phone to vibrate for the duration of the incoming
call alert.
–Vibrate then ring causes the phone to vibrate for the first 10 seconds and
then ring for the remainder of the incoming call alert.
3. Press to return to the home screen.
Note: The phone will ring when attached to an external power source (such
as a charger), even if vibrate mode has been activated.
Silencing all sounds
Your phone is set to ring for incoming calls and to beep for message alerts
and menu navigation.
There is a quick and easy way to silence all sounds at once and set your
phone to vibrate and/or light up for incoming calls, alerts, and menu
navigation.
