Preferences

Selecting

Preferences opens a sub menu of additional

PC Card settings.

•

Show Welcome Screen check box. This enables showing of

the Welcome Splash Screen when you start Passport

Navigator. This option is enabled by default.

•

Start in System Tray check box. Specifies whether the

Passport Navigator application starts “minimized”

(i.e., appearing in the System Tray rather than open on

the screen). This option is disabled by default.

•

Launch at Windows Startup check box. Specifies whether

Passport Navigator launches at Windows startup.

This option is disabled by default.

•

Set TCP window size to 64kB. Allows you to set TCP

window size to 64kB. In some cases, the 64kB size

may increase connection performance.

•

Enable Redialing Option checkbox. This enables Redialing

functionality. This option is enabled by default.

• Redial

Attempts field. Allows you to specify the number

of reconnect attempts. Possible values are 1 to 5.

•

Time between attempts field. Allows you to specify

predefined time intervals to resume redial operation.
